Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the generator (2) into position and tighten the mounting fasteners (1) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).

  2. Connect the engine harness connector (3) and the engine harness battery positive terminal (2) to the generator. Tighten the fastener (1) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  4. Install the power brake booster pump. Refer to Power Brake Booster Pump Replacement .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
