Preliminary Procedures
- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
.
- Remove the fuel pipe shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement .
- Disconnect the fuel feed line quick connect. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

Tighten
28 (21 lb ft) |

Fuel Feed Pipe Bolt (Qty: 2)
Tighten
50 (37 lb ft) |

Fuel Feed Pipe Procedure
- Unclip the electrical harness from the feed pipe bracket.
- DISCARD the pipe when removed, and install a NEW pipe.
- Ensure that the high pressure fuel pipe, and fuel pump fittings are clean and dry prior to assembly.
- Pressure up the fuel system and check for leaks.
