Rear Parking Assist Alarm Sensor Replacement

Rear Parking Assist Alarm Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures 
Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
1 Rear Parking Assist Alarm Sensor

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the rear parking assist alarm sensor electrical connector.
  2. Release the locking tabs on the rear parking assist alarm sensor .
  3. The rear object sensor is a one piece design. Do NOT twist the sensor cap to try and remove the painted cap.
NOTE:

Ensure the silicone decoupling ring is installed on the sensor to avoid sensor failure.
