Removal Procedure

Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
If equipped, remove the oil pan skid plate and bolts.

Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (4) from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.

Remove the CKP sensor bolt and sensor.
