Removal Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fuel and Evaporative Emission Hose/Pipe Connection Cleaning Caution .

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) electrical connectors. Note the harness routing and retainers for reassembly.
  3. Remove the right side catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (LFW,LFX) , Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (LSA) .
  4. Remove the HO2S (1).
