Installation Procedure

  1. Install the generator bracket to the engine.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the generator bracket bolts (1, and 2) and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
  3. Install the accessory drive belt idler pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement .
  4. Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (LSA) , Generator Replacement (LFX) .
  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Coupe) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Sedan,Wagon) .
