Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement (LF1)

Preliminary Procedure: 
Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LF1) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LAU) .
1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Reposition the sensor heat shield.
  2. Disconnect the ECT sensor harness connector.

    Tighten:  20 N.m (35 lb in)
