Installation Procedure

Assemble the fuel system as follows:

  1. Install the fuel injectors and fuel rail. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement - Bank 1 (LF1, LFW)  or Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement - Bank 1 (LLT)  and Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement - Bank 2 (LF1, LFW)  or Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement - Bank 2 (LLT) .
  2. Install the right fuel tank pump module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement - Right Side .
  3. Install the left fuel level sensor assembly. Refer to Fuel Level Sensor Replacement - Left Side 
  4. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service  in order to connect the following quick connect fittings to the fuel rail:
    • The feed hose/pipe
    • The return hose/pipe
