Installation Procedure

  1. Carefully clean the throttle body mounting surfaces of any gasket and/or seal material.
    2. Fig 1: Throttle Body & Bolts

  2. Install the throttle body and NEW gasket.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the throttle body bolts and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the wiring harness conduit.

  5. Install the throttle body electrical connector.
  6. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
  7. Perform the throttle learn procedure. Refer to Throttle/Idle Learn (Without LF1, LFW) .
  8. Use the scan tool to clear all DTCs.
