Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement (LF1)

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure: 
Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LF1, LLT) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LF1, LLT) .
1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Reposition the sensor heat shield.
  2. Disconnect the ECT sensor harness connector.

    Tighten:  20 N.m (35 lb in)
