Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Install the fuel tank fill and vent pipe to the fuel filler pocket. Tighten the fuel tank fill and vent pipe bolts to 3.5 N.m (31 lb in).

  2. Connect the fuel fill pipe ground strap and tighten the ground strap bolt to 4.0 N.m (35 lb in).

  3. Uncap the openings on the fuel fill hose (1) and the vent hose (2).
  4. Connect the fuel fill hose (1) and the vent hose (2) to the fuel tank fill and vent pipe and tighten the hose clamp to 3.5 N.m (31 lb in).
  5. Install the left rear wheelhouse liner panel. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .
  6. Install the fuel filler cap.
