Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2010 GMC Yukon XL, 2010 GMC Yukon, 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2010 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the quarter window. Refer to Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows (Quarter Window)  or Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows (Windshield) .
  2. Install the right or left side rear applique. Refer to Quarter Panel Upper Applique Replacement (GMC Yukon Hybrid 2 Mode) or Quarter Panel Upper Applique Replacement (Tahoe) .
  3. Install the rear door upper garnish trim. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the quarter window, if equipped
  5. Ensure that the radio has reception.
  6. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  7. Close the liftgate.
