Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the appropriate air cleaner duct. Refer toAir Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement for the 3.6L (LY7) engine or Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement for the 4.6L (LH2) engine.
  2. Release the belt tension and slide the belt off the pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Power Steering and Air Conditioning for the 3.6L (LY7) engine or Drive Belt Replacement - Air Conditioning, Power Steering and Water Pump for the 4.6L (LH2) engine.

  3. Using the J 25034-C  , remove the power steering pump pulley from the power steering pump.
