Installation Procedure

  1. Locate the instrument panel retainer to the carrier.
  2. Route the instrument panel wire harness in to the previous noted location.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Install the screws securing the passenger side of the instrument panel retainer and tighten to 9 N.m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the screws securing the instrument panel to the carrier and tighten to 9 N.m (18 lb in).
  7. Install the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  8. Install the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
  9. Install the knee bolster bracket. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Reinforcement Replacement .
  10. Install the left and right instrument panel insulator panels. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side  and Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  11. Install the HVAC control module. Refer to HVAC Control Module Replacement .
  12. Install the ashtray/storage bin. Refer to Ashtray Replacement .
  13. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  14. Install the instrument center trim. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement .
  15. Install the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement .
  16. Install the center floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
  17. Install the front seats. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
  18. Install the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement
