Liftgate Close Actuator Motor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the body side trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Standard Wheelbase w/E61) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Extended Wheelbase w/E61) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Extended Wheelbase w/o E61) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Standard Wheelbase w/o E61) .
  2. Remove the liftgate actuator rod. Refer to Liftgate Actuator Rod Replacement (Except Avalanche and EXT Escalade) .
1 Power Liftgate Actuator Motor Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
8 N.m (71 lb in)
2 Power Liftgate Actuator Motor
