Installation Procedure

Fig 1: View Of Yaw Rate Sensor/Lateral Accelerometer & Mounting Nuts

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the 2 nuts (2) that secure the accelerometer.
Tighten: Tighten the mounting nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Connect the electrical connector (2) to the accelerometer (1).
Perform the ABS diagnostic system check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information.
