Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the Air Deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement - Front in Body Front End.
  3. Loosen and lower the pinch clamp securing the AIR pump outlet hose (3) to the AIR pump (2).
  4. Remove the clamps securing the AIR pump outlet hose (3) to the bank 2 intermediate pipe/hose and the crossover pipe/hose.
  5. Remove the AIR pump outlet hose (3).
