Installation Procedure

  1. Install the ignition coil(s).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the ignition coil bolt(s).

    Tighten:  Tighten the ignition coil bolt(s) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the ignition coil electrical connector(s).
  4. If necessary, install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement - Lower in Engine Mechanical - 2.8L (LP1).
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 2.8L (LP1).
