Anti-Trap Feature

The DDM and PDM are equipped with an integrated obstacle detection system referred to as anti-trap. The anti-trap feature is activated during Express Close demands only if the system if normalized. It is not active during a supervised closing. The anti-trap system operates within a range from 4-200 mm of daylight opening between the top of the window and the window seal. Upon detection of an obstacle between 4-200 mm during Express Close, the anti-trap function is triggered and the window will reverse down approximately 125 mm. The glass stops only within this 125 mm due to down stall or soft stop.
