Installation Procedure

  1. Position the auxiliary generator bracket to the engine.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts securing the auxiliary generator bracket to the cylinder head and the power steering pump.

    Tighten:  Tighten the auxiliary generator bracket mounting bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install the bolt securing the power steering pressure hose to the auxiliary generator bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the power steering pressure hose to auxiliary generator bracket bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

  4. Install the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pulley Replacement in Power Steering System.
  5. Install the auxiliary generator. Refer to Generator Replacement - Auxiliary .
