Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Cadillac CTS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the wiper motor fuse. The wiper motor fuse is located in the underhood fuse block.
  2. Remove the wiper arm assemblies. Refer to WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT (LHD)  or WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT (RHD)  .
  3. Remove the air inlet grille (1,3). Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT (LHD) or AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT (RHD) in Body Front End.

  4. Remove the wiper motor module mounting bolts (3,5).
  5. Disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector (4).
  6. Remove the wiper motor module (1) from the vehicle.
  7. Remove the following wiper motor module grommets:
    • Round (2)
    • Oval (6)
    • Pin (7)
