Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR  .
  2. Pull back the forward half of the water deflector from the door panel to access the check link. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  3. Remove the door check link to body bolt.
  4. Remove the check link to door nuts (1).
  5. Remove the check link from the door.
