Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Cadillac Eldorado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the lumbar switch (2) into the outer finish panel.
  2. Apply inward pressure in order to seat the switch.
  3. Connector the electrical connector (1).

  4. Position the outer finish panel to the front and rear of the seat.
  5. Position the outer finish panel to the retention clip (2) located on the seat cushion frame.
  6. Apply downward pressure in order to secure the outer finish panel (3) to the seat cushion frame retention clip (2).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  7. Install the fasteners.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  8. Reposition the seat.
  9. Close the door.
