DTC B1983: Device Power 1 Circuit Low: Description

Battery voltage is supplied to Platform Zone Module (PZM) at Brown 24-pin connector C1 terminal B1 (Orange wire). PZM utilizes voltage to perform all PZM functions. PZM constantly measures this battery voltage signal. DTC B1983 will set when battery voltage measured at PZM connector C1 terminal B1 is less than 9 volts for 4 monitoring cycles and DTC B1981 is not set. When DTC B1983 is set, class 2 loss of serial data DTCs will not be set. DTC B1983 will clear when battery voltage is greater than 9.5 volts in the next monitoring cycle.
