Removal & Installation

Open rear compartment lid. Remove push in retainers from top edge and center of rear compartment front trim panel. See Figure . Remove rear compartment front trim panel from rear compartment. Disconnect Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module connector and remove. See Figure . To install, reverse removal procedure. After replacement of RFA module, Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitters will need to be programmed to new module. See PROGRAMMING in REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEMS - DEVILLE article.
