DTC B2719: UTD - Trunk Tamper Switch Fault: Testing
- Perform BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS. Go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect PZM connectors. Using DVOM, measure resistance between PZM connector C2, terminal A7 (Light Blue wire) and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If resistance is 0-5 ohms, go to step 4 . If resistance is other than 0-5 ohms, go to next step.
- Replace PZM. See PLATFORM ZONE MODULE (PZM) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs, go to step 7 .
- Disconnect trunk tamper switch Black 3-pin connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance between PZM connector C2, terminal A7 (Light Blue wire) and ground. If resistance is 0-5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is other than 0-5 ohms, go to step 6 .
- Repair short to ground in Light Blue wire between trunk tamper switch and PZM. After repairs, go to step 7 .
- Replace trunk tamper switch. After repairs, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Reconnect all disconnected components and connectors. Turn ignition on. Use scan tool to clear DTCs. Go to BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS.
