DTC B2719, UTD - Trunk Tamper Switch Fault: Testing

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect PZM connector. Using DVOM, check resistance between PZM 24-pin connector C1 terminal A3 (Light Blue wire) and ground. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, replace PZM. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect trunk tamper switch connector. Using DVOM, check resistance between trunk tamper switch connector terminal "A" and ground. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, replace trunk tamper switch. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, repair short to ground in Light Blue wire between trunk tamper switch and PZM.
