Security Indicator Light On At All Times

  1. Disconnect Brown, 32-pin BCM connector C2. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to ON position. If security indicator light is illuminated, repair short to chassis ground in Brown/Blue wire between BCM connector C2, terminal C06 and gauge cluster connector terminal No. 23 and go to SYSTEM CHECK. If light is not illuminated, go to next step.
  2. Check all power and ground circuits to BCM. If circuits are good, replace BCM and go to SYSTEM CHECK.
