Some Or No System Functions Operate From Both Remote Function Actuator (RFA) Transmitters

  1. If system operation check has been performed, go to next step. If system operation check has not been performed, see SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
  2. Check power door lock/unlock functions with door trim panel mounted switch. If doors lock/unlock, go to next step. If doors do not lock/unlock, see POWER DOOR LOCKS article.
  3. Check lock/unlock functions using second or known good transmitter. If doors lock/unlock go to step 5). If doors do not lock/unlock, go to next step.
  4. Replace RKE module. Verify system operation.
  5. Replace faulty transmitter. Verify system operation.
