Code P089, Long Shift And Maximum Adapt: Action

PCM turns on MIL and de-energizes transaxle pressure control solenoid.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
  1. Install transaxle pressure gauge.
  2. Using operator information to diagnose which shift caused the code to set.
  3. Code P089 snapshot information can be used to determine which shift the long time occurred on.
