PS03: Idle Speed Control (ISC) Motor

  1. Test conditions are vehicle in Park or Neutral, PCM commanding A/C relay off and EGR solenoid de-energized. When ISC motor is stopped, DIC displays "50" and TP sensor reads 1.44 degrees or less.
  2. With engine off, depress WARMER button on CCC. ISC plunger will extend as far as it can and display will read "99". With engine on, "==" will be displayed when WARMER button is depressed.
  3. With engine off and transaxle in Park or Neutral, depressing COOLER button on CCC will retract ISC until throttle switch opens and display will read "00". With engine on, ISC will retract to base idle (450 RPM).
