Test Conditions

  1. Code P047 is not set.
  2. Outside air temperature sensor has not failed.
  3. Outside air temperature -10°C or greater, or the difference between outside air temperature and IAT is greater than 17°C.
  4. Vehicle speed 7 MPH or more for at least five seconds.
  5. RPM 500 or greater for 20 seconds.
