Notes On Fault Tree

NOTE: The following numbered steps are in reference to numbered steps in flow chart. See Fig 2 .
  1. Checking PCM ability to cycle the generator control output. If voltage cycles, replace the battery.
  2. Checking if CKT 225 is open or short to ground or if the PCM is bad.
  3. Checking CKT 725 and battery temperature sensor for high resistance. The voltages should be within one volt of each other.

For circuit identification and diagnosis, refer to illustrations. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
