Pcm Code E27, Open Throttle Switch CKT: Action

PCM turns on SERVICE ENGINE SOON light. EGR is disabled. When TPS angle is 18 degrees or less and the brake is applied, PCM substitutes a throttle switch closed value. When TPS angle is greater than 18 degrees or if brakes are not applied, PCM substitutes a throttle switch open value.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
  1. PCM harness connector for ISC jumper is located between alternator and cruise control servo.
  2. ISC jumper is a separate harness that connects ISC to PCM harness.
