Pcm Code E26, Shorted Throttle Switch CKT: Description

Throttle switch is part of ISC motor assembly. Terminal "B" of ISC motor 4-way weatherpack connector is throttle switch input to PCM. PCM provides a 5-volt signal to circuit No. 427. When throttle lever contacts ISC plunger, throttle switch closes. When throttle switch is closed, input voltage is low. Code E26 sets when PCM detects a TPS signal greater than 20 degrees with throttle switch closed.
