Note On Intermittents

If PCM Code E22 is stored as history, manipulate related wiring while observing PCM parameter P.0.1. Check TPS test point for short to ground. Cycle TPS through its travel and tap on TPS using a pencil or pocket screwdriver to test for intermittent TPS. If fault is induced, PCM data P.0.1 will momentarily skip to 72 degrees or greater. If wiring is okay, substitute known good TPS, and retest.
