Entering PCM Output Cycling
To enter PCM output cycling, complete following:
- Start engine, and allow it to idle.
- Move cruise control switch to ON position.
- Turn ignition off. Within 2 seconds, turn ignition on.
- Enter diagnostics, and display "E.9.5." See Figure .
- Depress LO button to initiate output cycling mode. FDC will alternately display "E.1.2" and "E.9.6" and all devices will be cycled on and off at 3-second intervals. See PCM OUTPUT CYCLING table.
- Devices can by cycled individually by repeatedly depressing HI to advance to next displayed parameter number or LO to return to a lower parameter number. "E.0.0" (no outputs cycled) can also be selected in this manner. No outputs are cycled with "E.0.0" displayed.
