BCM Codes F30 &/Or F31, Display Panels-To-BCM Data: Notes

BCM Code F30 is set if BCM is unable to receive data from Electronic Climate Control Panel (ECCP). Code F31 indicates same condition exists between BCM and Fuel Data Center (FDC). If malfunction should occur in circuit common to both display panels, both codes will be stored in BCM memory.

Due to failure modes of Codes F30 and F31, they will only be displayed if problem is intermittent. When these codes are currently failing, displays do not function properly, which prohibits use of diagnostics. One or more of symptoms (listed in SYMPTOMS OF MALFUNCTIONS table by corresponding number) is associated with each circuit malfunction and is referenced in parentheses.
