Pick-Up Coil

To test Pick-Up Coil:
- Remove wiring connector from cap.
- Turn four screws and remove cap and coil assembly from lower housing.
- Remove rotor and pick-up coil leads from module.
- Connect ohmmeter test 1 and then test 2, see Fig 1 .
- Observe ohmmeter flex leads by hand to check for intermittent opens.
- Test 1 should read infinite at all times.
- Test 2 should read steady at one value within 500-1500 ohm range.
- If it does not fall within parameters replace Pick-Up Coil.
