Installation Procedure
First install the liftgate end of the liftgate power assist actuator (1) and then install the body side.
- Ensure the 2 metal clips (1) are fully seated when actuator is reinstalled. If a clip cannot be fully seated, a new actuator should be installed.
Push the wire through the opening and install the pass through grommet (1).
Connect the electrical connector (2) and clip the wire to the body structure.
