Learn Procedure Criteria
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2022 Buick Envision. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The following learn procedure is for vehicles equipped with RPO TR7, and not equipped with F45 or F47. The headlamp leveling sensor learn procedure must be performed if the following components have been replaced/serviced:
- K26 Headlamp Control Module
- B152F Front Suspension Automatic Forward Lighting Position Sensor
- B152R Rear Suspension Automatic Forward Lighting Leveling Position Sensor
The learn procedure will set the sensors home value. This value is received by the K26 Headlamp Control Module. The headlamp control module compares the information from both sensors and stores this information in memory. The following items need to be verified before performing the learn procedure:
- There are no suspension leveling DTCs present before performing the learn procedure
- The vehicle is stationary, on a flat/level surface, with the tires inflated to spec
- No less than 1/4 tank of fuel in the fuel tank
- No one is sitting in the vehicle during the learn procedure
- Remove any excess weight from the vehicle
- The Front/Rear Leveling Position Sensor Angle scan tool data parameter must be between 40-60% for the learn procedure to calibrate properly. If the parameter is not within 40 - 60%, check for DTCs and/or damaged sensors.
