Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Verify the scan tool Left Front Door Interior Lock Status and the Left Front Door Interior Unlock Status changes from Inactive to Active while pressing the S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch
    • If a parameter does not change 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Test 1

    • Go to next step: If the parameters change from Inactive and Active 
  3. Verify the scan tool Right Front Door Interior Lock Status and the Right Front Door Interior Unlock Status changes from Inactive to Active while pressing the S13P Door Lock Switch - Passenger - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch
    • If a parameter does not change 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Test 2

    • Go to next step: If the parameters change from Inactive and Active 
  4. Operate the component: S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch

    Verify the component works as specified: A23D Front Side Door Latch - Driver = Lock & Unlock

    • If the component does not activate 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Test 3

    • Go to next step: If all functions work properly 
  5. Operate the component: S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch

    Verify the component works as specified: A23P Front Side Door Latch - Passenger = Lock & Unlock

    • If the component does not activate 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Test 4

    • Go to next step: If all functions work properly 
  6. Operate the component: S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch

    Verify the component works as specified: A23LR Rear Side Door Latch - Left = Lock & Unlock

    • If the component does not activate 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Test 5

    • Go to next step: If all functions work properly 
  7. Operate the component: S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver - Lock Switch & Unlock Switch

    Verify the component works as specified: A23RR Rear Side Door Latch - Right = Lock & Unlock

    • If the component does not activate 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Test 6

    • Go to next step: If all functions work properly 
  8. A fault is not currently present and may be an intermittent condition
