Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Chevrolet) , and Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Buick) . NOTE: Be careful not to remove the rubber seal inside the inlet and outlet hoses. Remove the charge air cooler inlet air hose from the charge air cooler. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement . Remove the charge air cooler outlet air hose from the charge air cooler. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement . Remove the lower impact bar. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Impact Bar Replacement (Chevrolet) . Remove the radiator air lower baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement (2H0) , and Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement (LUV) .
1	Charge Air Cooler Fasteners (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Chevrolet) , and Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Buick) .

NOTE:

Be careful not to remove the rubber seal inside the inlet and outlet hoses.

Remove the charge air cooler inlet air hose from the charge air cooler. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement .
Remove the charge air cooler outlet air hose from the charge air cooler. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement .
Remove the lower impact bar. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Impact Bar Replacement (Chevrolet) .
Remove the radiator air lower baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement (2H0) , and Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement (LUV) .

Charge Air Cooler Fasteners (Qty: 2)

CAUTION:

Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in)
