Removal Procedure

    Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft (1) - Remove - Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement

    NOTE:

    The Intermediate steering shaft inner boot MUST be removed BEFORE removing the intermediate steering shaft outer boot.

    Intermediate Steering Shaft Inner Boot (1) - Remove - Intermediate Steering Shaft Boot Replacement (Inner) 

  3. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Cut the intermediate steering shaft outer boot clamp (1).

    DISCARD the clamp.

    Slide the intermediate steering shaft outer boot (1) upwards to expose the intermediate steering shaft lower bolt.

  6. Intermediate Steering Shaft Lower Bolt (2) - Remove

    Remove the intermediate steering shaft (1) from the vehicle.

    Remove the intermediate steering shaft outer boot (1) from the vehicle.
