Installation Procedure

When installing the engine oil cooler, position the engine oil cooler so that the tab (1) is against the engine block (2).
Install a NEW seal. (3)
- Install the engine oil cooler. (2)
- Install the engine oil cooler connector. (1) Tighten 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Install the oil cooler inlet and outlet hoses. (2)
- Install the engine oil cooler pipe fastener.Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
- Install the oil filter. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement (LTG)Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement (LCV)
