Installation Procedure

  1. GM2911700

    Install a NEW throttle body seal (7).

  2. Install the throttle body (6).
  3. Install a NEW throttle body seal (5).
  4. Install the throttle body adapter (3).
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    Mind the different bolt length.

  5. Install the 4 throttle body adapter bolts (4) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  6. Install the charge air bypass valve hose (1).
  7. Install the charge air bypass valve hose clamp (2).
  8. Connect the throttle body wiring harness plug.
  9. Install the charge air cooler outlet air hose. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement .
