Removal Procedure

CAUTION:
When working on the fuel rail and fuel injectors, always maintain a clean work surface. Failure to maintain a clean work surface can result in contaminant on the injector seals and cause leaks.
- Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement -Remove
- Remove the 8 plate bolts (1) and remove the EN-51146-1-2 plate (2), counterhold with a wrench (4) at the EN-51146-1-1 supports (3).
- Remove the EN-51146-1-1 supports (3).
- Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connector (3).
- Fuel Injector (2) @Fuel Injection Fuel Rail (1) -Remove
NOTE:
The EN-51146-2-5 calibrations tools must be installed.
NOTE:
Remove only the EN-51146-1-1 supports (3) of the fuel injector or fuel injectors, which will be replaced. The EN-51146-1-1 supports must remain at the injectors, which will be re-used.
