Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Spring Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the right or left rear compartment side trim panel as required. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement .
1 Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Spring
Procedure 
Pull the rear compartment lid spring backwards and unhook the rear compartment lid spring from the rear compartment lid hinge spring bracket.
NOTE: The springs can be placed in two different positions adjusting the tension for a quicker or slower opening speed.
