1	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut Cap NOTE: Use a small flat-bladed tool to release the finish cap from the windshield wiper arm.
2	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 38 N.m (27 lb ft)
3	Windshield Wiper Arm Procedure Gently rock the windshield wiper arm to remove from the windshield wiper system module pivot shaft. Remove the windshield wiper arm from the pivot shaft. Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing a new windshield wiper arm. If needed adjust the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment .

38 N.m (27 lb ft)

Windshield Wiper Arm

Procedure

Gently rock the windshield wiper arm to remove from the windshield wiper system module pivot shaft.
Remove the windshield wiper arm from the pivot shaft.
Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing a new windshield wiper arm.
If needed adjust the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment .
