Windshield Washer Pump Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the front left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement (Left Side) .
1	Windshield Washer Pump Hose Procedure Place a clean suitable drain pan under the windshield washer pump container area to recover the windshield washer solvent when the windshield washer pump hose is disconnected. Disconnect the windshield washer pump hose.
2	Windshield Washer Pump Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield washer pump. Using two flat-bladed tools, place the blades under the windshield washer pump seal on each side of washer pump. Twist the two flat-bladed tools in opposite directions to lift and disengage the washer pump from the windshield washer solvent container. Remove and discard the windshield washer pump seal and replace with NEW.

Windshield Washer Pump Hose

Procedure

Place a clean suitable drain pan under the windshield washer pump container area to recover the windshield washer solvent when the windshield washer pump hose is disconnected.
Disconnect the windshield washer pump hose.

Windshield Washer Pump

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield washer pump.
Using two flat-bladed tools, place the blades under the windshield washer pump seal on each side of washer pump.
Twist the two flat-bladed tools in opposite directions to lift and disengage the washer pump from the windshield washer solvent container.
Remove and discard the windshield washer pump seal and replace with NEW.
